What I've been up to
Well, it's been a week, and wow, what a week it has been. Both a lot, and not much happened. Firstly, I moved! After six months, I'm back in the San Francisco Bay Area. Spend most of the time dealing with that and the logistics of moving all my stuff. The rest of the time this week was spend job hunting. Never thought just trying to find a job would be this stressful and exhausting. In the end, almost now work for my projects were done!
Enough excuses, let me talk about the projects I'm working on. As I wrote before, one is a short story and the other is an RPG Maker game. The short story I'm writing is about a daughter of a noble forced to marry a prince she hates. I wanted to write a character with a huge difference between their inner thoughts and their social image they portray to others. The main character is depicted as a perfect noble, but on the inside is a rude, foul-mouthed, ill-tempered girl. The RPG Maker game is an interactive story called "A Brother's Duty". You play as a older brother taking care of their younger sister during a pandemic. You must find medicine for your sister with the help of your friends before it's too late. Taking inspiration from our current pandemic, this was originally was the final project of my Narrative Leadership class, but was only left unfinished, I have been working on it off and on ever since.
Hopefully I can tell you more about these projects later on, and also detail what work I get done on a weekly basis. Until then!
