Artwork Highlight - Sword in the Stump

A Zbrush model made for my 3D Modeling 1 class. The project was about creating a Foliage Scene consisting of:

  • a old, worn out tree trunk (age, type, and level of wear is up to you)

  • rocks, ruins, stone elements of some kind (age, type, and level of wear is up to you, just not pristine)

  • plant a foliage elements created in Maya using extrusions (age, number, and type is up to you)

A lowpoly version was created in Maya from the highpoly Zbrush model. Both were UV unwrapped and had normal maps baked in Maya. The low-res mesh had a limit of 15,000 triangles.
