Artwork Highlight - Sword in the Stump
A Zbrush model made for my 3D Modeling 1 class. The project was about creating a Foliage Scene consisting of:
a old, worn out tree trunk (age, type, and level of wear is up to you)
rocks, ruins, stone elements of some kind (age, type, and level of wear is up to you, just not pristine)
plant a foliage elements created in Maya using extrusions (age, number, and type is up to you)
A lowpoly version was created in Maya from the highpoly Zbrush model. Both were UV unwrapped and had normal maps baked in Maya. The low-res mesh had a limit of 15,000 triangles.
