  1. What is the nature of the gameplay? That is, what challenges will the player face? What actions will the player take to overcome them?

Strategic, player-vs-player battle board game.Each player controls several units in an army and moves them across the board, having dice-roll battles against the other player’s units.

  1. What is the victory condition of the game? (If any?) What is the player trying to achieve?

Each player tries to move units to the other player’s end of the board, attacking a space labeled as their city/base.Victory is achieved through destruction of the other player’s base or their army.

  1. What is the player’s role? Is the player pretending to be someone or something, and if so, what? How does the player’s role help define gameplay?

Players act as the “general” for their own army, choosing how, when, and where to move the units on the board.

  1. What is the game setting? Where does it take place?

City-states warring for dominance in a fantasy setting.

  1. What is the player’s interaction model? Through an avatar? Something else? Some combination?

Player has a “god-role,” moving the units on the board themselves.

  1. What is the game’s primary perspective? How will the player view the game’s world on the screen? Will there be more than one perspective?

Top-down view of board/map, with stats/other info on cards.

  1. Does the player get all the information they need from the UI? If no how do they get info?

Statistics, such as attack strength and hit points, will be listed on cards.

  1. What is the general structure of the game? What is going on in each mode, and what function does each mode fill?

Turns taken between players to move units around the board, and turn-based battles between player units.

  1. What is left to chance?

Dice rolls determine movement/damage, drawn cards for randomizing weather conditions (stat effects) every few turns.

  1. Is the game competitive, cooperative, team based, or single player? If multiple players are allowed, are they using the same machine with separate controls or different machines over a network?

Competitive between two players, with the potential for 2v2 multiplayer.All players play on the same board.

  1. How is time used in this game?

Set amount of time for turns; weather conditions for the game change after a set number of turns.

  1. What skill does the game require from the player?

Critical and strategic thinking.

  1. Does the game have a narrative or story as it goes along? Summarize the plot in a sentence or two.

  1. Does the game fall into an existing genre? If so, which one?

Yes, tabletop strategy.

  1. Why would anyone want to play this game? What sort of people would be attracted to this game?

Someone who enjoys strategy would like this game.It challenges players to use their brains, and it could be a good way for tabletop gamers to get their more casual friends to play with them.

  1. What inspired this game? Is it from a board game, sport, or license etc…

Chess, tabletop games such as D&D, and the Fire Emblem series.
